Ohio Sea Grant Instagram

We created an Instagram account for Ohio Sea Grant as a placeholder a while ago, but I decided to make it active in October 2021, as we were marketing more opportunities and events that weren’t a good match for the Stone Lab account. I handed off the account to a new social media manager in November 2022, having grown it to 280 followers and reaching up to 2,500 people on some posts.

I maintained growth and engagement by posting not just information that we want our audiences to know, but also information our audiences want to know from us. We also shared information from partner organizations and government agencies to make sure our audience has the best information about Lake Erie and the Great Lakes.
